Approximately 40,000 people may have illegally entered the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta from Morocco on July 30, El Confidencial reported, citing estimates from the Spanish Civil Guard.
According to other sources, about 20,000 people could have entered the autonomous city in just a week’s time.
- At least 18 people died while trying to swim to the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta on the northern coast of Africa, El Pais reported.
