The meeting-debate “Rights to the Sea, Rights of the Sea”, promoted by the Circolo Territoriale VAS Rende-Cosenza, the first appointment of the Tirreno d’AMare Festival dei Sensi, took place with widespread public participation at the Grand Hotel delle Terme Luigiane. The initiative brought together scholars, professionals and representatives of the world of culture to reflect on the value of the sea as a heritage to be protected and a strategic resource for the sustainable development of Calabria. During the evening, Gilda De Caro was also awarded the Tirreno d’AMare 2026 Culture Award, in recognition of her contribution to the diffusion and valorization of the local culture.
