Juanita M. “Windy” Vance, 76, of McConnelsville, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on June 11, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia, to the late David and Janet Blevins Auxier. She spent her life as a homemaker and loved spending time with all her family and grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Scott Vance of McConnelsville; two daughters, Jennifer Thompson of Stockport and Mary Parker of Hilliard; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anderson Lee Vance; and a sister, Debra Auxier.
