The rhythm of Cuban rumba will pour out of Iroquois Amphitheater next month, marking the start of the Louisville Orchestra’s 2026-27 season. Orchestra musicians will play alongside Grammy-nominated Latin band The Pedrito Martinez Group for a free Music Without Borders show on Saturday, September 12. This is the first time in three years that the orchestra will perform at the South End amphitheater, one of Louisville’s most notable venues. “So being at Iroquois Amphitheater allows us to open that audience up and reach thousands when we can,” Kramer said. Two other Music Without Borders shows are slated for November and February at different venues, Kramer said.
