News Archive - EU Neighbours
Throughout March, EU Jeel Connectors across Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia organised a wide range of events under EU MedBridge and EU Jeel Connect, bringing EU programmes closer to youth across the region.
The month opened with reflective and empowering discussions: an online session on redefining success and avoiding hustle culture (March 1), followed by “Women’s Impact: Building the Future” in Algiers (March 7) and an EU Jeel Iftar & Quiz Night in Rabat (March 7) blending EU-values games with a shared Ramadan meal.
An online innovation workshop (March 8) then helped young people turn everyday challenges into structured, EU-supported projects.
Rania Afifi followed up with a dedicated Erasmus+ session for health professionals in Rabat (March 11).
Across every event, Erasmus+ and other EU-funded opportunities were consistently highlighted — connecting young people to pathways for mobility, training, and professional growth.
