Special to IFNAn eastern Iredell County man faces drug charges after the vehicle he was traveling in was stopped by an Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputy. Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrest of Nolan Curtis Morris, 34, of Shiloh Road, Statesville, in a news release on Thursday. Raper then conducted a search of Morris and located cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in his possession, according to the news release. The driver was issued citations for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Morris was arrested and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he was charged with felony possession of cocaine and four misdemeanor drug offenses.
