BILLINGS – Big Horn and Roosevelt counties will enter Stage 1 fire restrictions on Friday, July 31. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks follows the counties’ lead and will place fire restrictions on its properties within Big Horn ad Roosevelt counties beginning the same day. FWP sites on tribal land in Roosevelt County will be included in the restrictions. These restrictions at FWP sites will be in place until further notice.
