The Richmond Purple Poppies, on tour from the Northern Region of The Donkey Breed Society, will be on display at The Rifles Berkshire & Wiltshire Museum. The event involves remarkably crafted purple poppies quilt created by the community of the society’s northern region and acknowledges the vital role that animals have played in military history. Accompanying the Purple Poppies is an incredibly well made horse head made from recycled flowers, made by students from Burnham Grammar School in Slough.
