Inspired by Milwaukee's original Bronzeville District, it's an eight-day celebration of African American art, culture and commerce. Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs spoke about how this tradition helps preserve the rich history of the Bronzeville District. "Now we have Bronzeville Week, which is eight days full of art, culture and commerce." Bronzeville Week runs from Aug. 1-Aug. 8.
