The free, substance-free music festival is designed for people in recovery, their families and allies, as well as anyone interested in learning more about a sober lifestyle. "Soberfest 6 celebrates recovery, music and community in a substance-free space," said Byron Thompson, senior volunteer manager with The Phoenix Milwaukee. "We aim to uplift individuals in recovery while expanding the movement behind The Phoenix Milwaukee." Soberfest will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, from 5-10 p.m. at Pere Marquette Park in downtown Milwaukee.
