This year's event expands that mission by incorporating three young, aspiring female broadcasters into the live production, providing hands-on experience and direct mentorship from NESN's talent and crew. Sophia Alvarado, a rising junior from Chelsea, Mass., will shadow NESN's broadcast team, gaining firsthand experience in sports broadcasting through mentorship from Tiedemann, Rizzo, and the women behind the scenes who bring the Red Sox broadcast to life. Alvarado is a Nike RBI athlete with the Red Sox Foundation's Chelsea Mets program. Tiedemann and Rizzo, who handled the first all-female Red Sox broadcast during last year's Women's Celebration Night, will be joined by a team including studio host Nicole Menner, reporter Sophia Jurksztowicz, and Jen McCaffrey from The Athletic. The Women's Celebration broadcast will air live on NESN at 7:10 p.m.
