Maria Spadoni Battistoni (b. 1998) is an Italian fashion researcher and practitioner. She holds a BA in Fashion Design and Visual Arts from IUAV University of Venice and an MA in Critical Fashion Practices from ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. Her work examines fashion as a cultural and ideological system, with a focus on copying, repetition, and reuse as critical and pedagogical strategies to question dominant notions of originality and value. She teaches Fashion History & Cultures at Accademia Costume & Moda in Rome, and her practice spans writing, teaching, and curatorial projects within contemporary fashion discourse.
