The father who bought the guns used by school shooter Colt Gray to kill four people has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Colin Gray was sentenced on Thursday, becoming one of the few parents in the US to receive a criminal sentence for crimes committed by their child. Colt, now 16, was sentenced to life in prison for the September 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School, that also left eight students wounded. His lawyers further argued that a 15-year prison sentence would effectively be a life sentence for the 55-year-old and would amount to giving him the same punishment as Colt. Ethan, like Colt, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
