Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has announced a Rs. 14 billion road rehabilitation program under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) that will cover 139 roads across all districts of the city. The development program includes the reconstruction and rehabilitation of major roads, upgrades to the drainage network, replacement of water supply lines, and installation of streetlights. He said the Sindh government had extended full support to KMC for carrying out large-scale development projects. He added that the road rehabilitation drive forms part of the city’s broader plan to upgrade roads, drainage systems, and public facilities.
