Google Gemini is built into many Android apps and services, but it might soon be able to help you set up new gadgets, too. A Gemini-powered setup advice tool was spotted by Android Authority in a recent teardown of the latest Google Play Services beta, v26.30.31. A Gemini box then appears at the bottom of each screen of the walkthrough, where you can ask questions about what to do next. They’re all Google services in the report's example, including Google News, NotebookLM (now named Gemini Notebook), and Waze. Google has yet to officially announce the Gemini setup feature, so there’s no guarantee it will ever make it into a final version of Android.
