MacBook Neo Is Big Win for Apple's Mac Revenue, But Memory Crunch Looms
['About Our Expert']
PCMag Australia
The affordable MacBook Neo helped Apple’s Mac business reach new revenue records, despite the ongoing memory shortage.
However, CEO Tim Cook warns that memory costs are expected to continue rising.
Cook credited the growth to new MacBook Pro models and the MacBook Neo, which launched in mid-March.
The memory constraints mainly hit Mac products during the April to June quarter, Cook said.
“For September, we expect to pay even higher memory costs,” he added.
