PRETORIA - State Advocate Drushantha Ramsamy has accused former Independent Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head Andrea Johnson of misleading the Madlanga Commission about her role in high-profile investigations. Testifying before the Commission on Thursday, Ramsamy rejected Johnson's claims that she relied on investigators' briefings and was not directly involved in operational decisions. Ramsamy told the Commission that Johnson had appointed herself as the supervisor of the investigations and exercised complete control over the process. During the proceedings, Commissioner Mbuyiseni Madlanga remarked that the evidence suggested Johnson's version was "a lie". It is a straight lie," Ramsamy told the Commission.
