Bolton Coroner's Court heard Mr Nasri, who lived alone, was in a "heavily decomposed state" when he was found. A post-mortem examination was unable to establish how Mr Nasri died because of the advanced state of decomposition. He described finding Mr Nasri slumped between the toilet and the wall in the bathroom, in what he called a "mummified" state. When he returned on April 17 to change the locks and organise assets within the property, Mr Nasri's body was discovered. Medical records showed Mr Nasri had been diagnosed with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and emotionally unstable personality disorder.
