Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said that at around 7.30am on Tuesday, July 28, a man was seen acting "suspiciously" around Agnes Street, Chadderton. The man then approached a car and setting it alight, causing extensive damage to the vehicle as well as two other cars parked nearby. Investigators currently believe the incident was "targeted" and do not believe there is any wider risk to the public. GMP has said it is particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone footage that could assist the investigation.
