EAST GRAND FORKS — Almost three months into her new role as director of the East Grand Forks Campbell Library, Lacey Anderson said she’s been enjoying the position so far and the opportunities to connect with people in the community. Helgeson also provided training for a few weeks to help Anderson settle into her new job. She’s lived in East Grand Forks since 2011 with her husband, Wade, and has two sons — Avery, 10, and Jude, 8 — and a dachshund named Mr. Weeney. She added she’s been moving around and on her feet much more than she initially thought she would be as a library director. And while Anderson hasn’t been with the library for very long yet, she’s already found many things to enjoy about being its director.
