GADSDEN– A new transfer agreement between Gadsden State Community College and Jacksonville State University will create a direct route from technical associate degrees to a bachelor’s degree. The agreement applies to graduates of 28 Associate of Applied Science programs at Gadsden State. The partnership is intended to reduce duplicated coursework and shorten the path toward completing a bachelor’s degree. “Jax State and Gadsden State share a commitment to creating opportunities for students, and this partnership expands those opportunities,” Jax State President Dr. Don C. Killingsworth Jr. said. “At Gadsden State, we are committed to creating opportunities that help our students keep moving forward,” Gadsden State President Alan Smith said.
