Staff ReportsCentre Middle School seventh grade softball pitcher Addie Sherrod recently tried out and was selected to play in the USSSA All-American games at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. Sherrod’s team starts bracket play on Friday. Sherrod was also selected for all-state and will be competing Saturday, Aug. 8 in Decatur. She was selected by the coaches that her travel team has competed against this season. Her 12-and-under travel team is Southern Force 2k13 out of Huntsville.
