Since her husband died five years ago, Siyah Moy has carried the responsibility of raising their two children alone in a village where drought, poverty and limited opportunities have left many families struggling to survive.
During Ramadan, when many families gather for meals at sunset, Siyah Moy’s worries deepened.
“It’s been so long since we last had meat, and honestly, I can’t even remember what it tastes like anymore,” she said.
