Teton County Search and Rescue said a 28-year-old from Australia was found dead near an area known as Wigwams on the west slope of the Tetons in Teton County, Wyoming. National park officials said the man had been attempting a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail, starting in Canada. When there was no communication afterward, the family contacted park officials on July 27. His body was recovered and transported to Teton County Search and Rescue headquarters in Jackson before being transferred to the Teton County Coroner's Office.
