US-Bangla Airlines (BS, Dhaka) has confirmed its plans to acquire twenty-one Boeing aircraft to expand its international network.
The move, announced during an event in Dhaka, includes fifteen B737-8s and six B737-800s, with deliveries scheduled over the coming year.
"It reflects our long-term vision to transform US-Bangla from an airline into a fully integrated global aviation group," declared Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, managing director of US-Bangla Airlines.
Earlier in July, US-Bangla Airlines said the additional aircraft would support plans to develop Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet as regional hubs.
ch-aviation data shows its fleet currently comprises three A330-300s, ten ATR72-600s, and four B737-800s.
