Pope Leo XIV declared Tyquan Johnson’s birth a “miracle” after he recovered without any medical assistance from oxygen deprivation for over an hour.
Now 19, Johnson was recently arrested on Wednesday over a double shooting incident, the New York Post reported.
Newport Police detectives, through their investigations, ultimately linked Johnson and another suspect to the double shooting.
Through their investigative efforts, RIVFTF developed information that Mr. Johnson was at a residence in Newport News, Virginia,” the statement said.
Pope Leo XIV declared Johnson’s 2007 birth as the first miracle of his papacy and Rhode Island’s first-ever recognized miracle, the Boston Globe reported.
