Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is happy with having third-year quarterback Bo Nix back in training camp on time, considering his injury last season. Nix injured his ankle in the AFC Divisional Round last season, and he recovered in time for training camp, as expected. Improving may have subjective categories to hit because the Nix and the Broncos will be hard-pressed to build in 2025. The AFC West just got tougher with the Kansas City Chiefs getting quarterback Patrick Mahomes back healthy for training camp. In addition, the Broncos are looking to get more out of the running game with the addition of running back J.K. Dobbins.
