Red Deer firefighters responded to a structure fire at 27064 Township Road 380 on July 30, 2026. Brad Robinson, assistant to the deputy chief with Red Deer Emergency Services, said crews responded at 6:07 a.m. and arrived to find heavy fire conditions so defensive fire operations were launched. Robinson said the fire was located outside the city, but within the City of Red Deer response zone, and Red Deer County’s Fire Rescue Services provided mutual aid for water shuttle operations. Red Deer firefighters thanked Red Deer County’s fire department for its quick response and seamless mutual aid. These operations require careful coordination and are critical when protecting properties in rural areas,” said Red Deer fire fighters, in a statement.
