HILLINGDON faces more pressure on its green spaces than anywhere else in London, says the council.
It identifies that 61 per cent of homes should be built on the borough's green spaces, the largest Green Belt allocation proposed for any London borough.
Hillingdon’s own Growth Plan prioritises brownfield development, making appropriate use of grey belt where justified and protecting valued Green Belt wherever possible.
“The Mayor's answer appears to be 'Hillingdon', expecting our borough to sacrifice more Green Belt than anywhere else in London.
Residents can also take part in Hillingdon’s Local Plan consultation, which runs until Friday, August 21.
