Police are investigating a possible double homicide that took place in suburban Harvey Thursday morning. According to authorities, police were called to a residence for a “possible medical issue” just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday. Both of the individuals were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and a representative of the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, according to authorities. “I am heartbroken by the tragic loss of two lives in our community today,” Harvey Mayor Shirley Drewenski said in a statement. “On behalf of the City of Harvey, I extend my deepest condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones during this unimaginable time.
