The incident happened at Gwithian Towans Car Park at around 7.45 pm on Friday, July 24. Officers say the teenager, who is from the local area, was attacked by a group of three boys. An 81-year-old local woman who witnessed the attack and tried to come to the boy’s aid was knocked to the ground during the incident. Devon and Cornwall Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. The appeal relates to an incident involving a teenage boy and a group of three youths at the popular coastal car park in Gwithian.
