(ABC 6 Sports) — The Rochester Redhawks started the Legion State Baseball Tournament on the right foot with a 9-0 victory over Tri-City. They were able to win their opening game of the tournament, starting group play with a solid win. The Redhawks were able to respond with a rally of thier own, scoring five in response to make it a one run game. Rochester could not close the gap any farther, Excelsior would earn a few more insurance runs to take the win. The Redhawks have their third and final game of pool play on Friday at 1pm.
