Women, under the aegis of Rivers Women Unite for SIM (RWUS), have renewed their call for unity, peace and a collective sense of purpose as the foundation for sustainable development in Rivers State.
She said the impact of the prayer meetings extends beyond promoting peace, noting that members have also experienced spiritual growth and divine blessings through their commitment to seeking God’s intervention.
The women also reaffirmed the resolve of promoting their economic well-being through skills acquisition and trade enhancement programmes.
They described the commencement of the skills acquisition initiative as a major step towards improving the livelihoods of women across the state and beyond.
Members expressed optimism that through unity, consistent prayers, and skills development, women will continue to play a leading role in promoting peace, strengthening families, and contributing meaningfully to the overall development of Rivers State.
