Alyson Perrett, 61, from Caerphilly swindled caravan owners at Trecco Bay in Porthcawl as well as hopeful holidaymakers there whose breaks never materialised. As part of her sentence, grandmother Perrett will have to compensate her victims for their losses. Two of them were caravan owners who had hired Perrett as a booking agent. Another was a woman who had hoped to share “special memories” with a close friend who had been diagnosed with cancer. The defendant must complete a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement and she was made the subject of a six-month alcohol treatment requirement.
