Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed that he is scheduled to hold a meeting with former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday, August 3, as the opposition intensifies consultations ahead of the 2027 General Election. The Wiper leader disclosed the planned meeting while dismissing speculation that he had secretly met President William Ruto during his recent trip to Tanzania. The opposition leader further insisted that he would not work with Ruto, saying the contest between them would be settled at the ballot in the 2027 General Election. Kalonzo also revealed that he had written to Senate Speaker Amason Kingi in his capacity as Azimio party leader, protesting recent leadership changes in Parliament that affected Sifuna. The Wiper leader argued that the opposition had entered the election season and accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of becoming increasingly uneasy as campaigns draw closer.
