Walling off the crops was part of the bundle plan. For the quality crop bundle we will need to wait until fall before that is done. We managed to get the fist batch, which was gold star parsnips, done in year one along with gold star ears of corn. We still need enough gold star melons, which are a summer crop, and gold star pumpkins in the fall. Then my PC save just made it through the Stardew Valley Fair where, on my third try I made it to first place.
