The Athletics, based in Czar, clipped the fourth-ranked Drayton Valley Giants 17-3 in their semifinal. Lloydminster defeated the sixth-seeded Lacombe Dodgers White 10-9 on Saturday night to gain a berth in Sunday’s semifinals. In their opening game Friday evening, the Twins lost 20-12 to Drayton Valley.
