Two people were killed Wednesday afternoon in a head-on crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 59 in Labette County, Kansas. The crash happened around 3:10 p.m., about two miles northeast of Altamont, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Investigators say the motorcycle was going north when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound Jeep. The motorcycle's driver, 38-year-old Ryan J. Myers of Altamont, and his passenger, 30-year-old Samantha A. Cahow of Parsons, died at the scene.
