In a three-jump qualifying round, Perinchief required only two attempts to secure a place in the final on Saturday morning. Having secured qualification with his second jump, Perinchief, who won the bronze medal in the event at the 2022 Games in Birmingham, passed on his third jump and was pleased with his performance.
