Politico clearly wants the data from its latest survey to build a narrative about MAGA voters. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why that distinction matters to MAGA voters, or Republicans more generally. The media and Democrats have spent the last decade making all sorts of scandal allegations against Donald Trump, again mainly without substantiation. That's not a new development; Platner wouldn't have run in the first place if shame hadn't already been killed in politics. Shame died in the 1990s, both in politics and in media bias.
