Nvidia graphics cards aren't exactly known for being affordable right now, but it looks like Team Green's GPUs are about to get another price increase, thanks to the ongoing memory crisis. According to a post on Taiwan's Economic Daily News, Samsung, which makes the memory chips Nvidia uses in its graphics cards, has raised DRAM prices by 20%. In response, the article claims that Nvidia is going to raise prices on its graphics cards by as much as 30%. However, the price increases that happened earlier this year were mostly confined to higher-end Nvidia graphics cards. Regardless, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that more GPU price increases are coming.
