The closure, is in place between the White Harte pub and the double mini roundabout in Warmley. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 28, with the road expected to remain shut until Friday, July 31, to allow Bristol Water to complete reinstatement works following the repair of the burst pipe. A spokesperson for South Gloucestershire Council said: "The burst pipe has been repaired but further reinstatement works are being carried out which could last three/four days. "Please follow the diversion signs in place." A signed diversion will remain in place for the duration of the closure, routing traffic via the A46, A4, A431 and A4175.
