Pacers announce return of iconic gold pinstripe uniforms for upcoming seasonINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Pacers announced Thursday the return of the iconic gold pinstripe uniforms, a throwback jersey made popular during the Reggie Miller era. The classic pinstripe uniform was first introduced in 1997 and will return to the hardwood once again for the 2026-2027 season. “Gold has always signaled the biggest moments in Pacers basketball,” the Pacers said in a statement. The throwback uniforms will also pay tribute to the late Bobby “Slick” Leonard and will include his iconic “BOOM BABY” catchphrase at the bottom of the jersey.
