Through the BALANCE model, pharmaceutical manufacturers in Indiana like Eli Lily will be able to sell select GLP-1’s to Indiana’s Medicaid. Medicaid will pay $245 per member per month for the medications. The release did not say how much Medicaid members will have to pay for GLP-1’s. The release says that increasing access to obesity treatments, like GLP-1’s, can help more Hoosiers remain in the workforce and increase quality of life.
