Crash between semi and Impala leaves 3 dead in White CountyMONON, Ind. (WISH) — Three people are dead after a semi tractor trailer and a Chevrolet Impala crashed just north of Monon, Indiana just before 1 Thursday afternoon. Indiana State Police said in a press release a preliminary investigation revealed that the semi was traveling northbound on US 421 while the Impala was traveling southbound. The crash remains under investigation by the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team, the press release said. The White County Sheriff’s Office, the White County Coroner’s Office, the Monticello Fire Department, Monon First Responders, the Monon Fire Department and Monticello EMS all assisted at the scene.
