WTW reports Q2 revenue up, profits sharply downWillis Towers Watson said Thursday it would invest $625 million to accelerate artificial intelligence and automation across the business as it reported second-quarter revenue of $2.47 billion, up 9% overall, but sharply lower profits. Organic revenue growth was 5% for the quarter, led by 7% growth in its risk and broking segment. WTW’s health, wealth and career segment reported revenue of $1.27 billion, up 8% overall and up 4% on an organic basis. In its risk and broking segment, which includes WTW’s corporate risk and broking and insurance consulting and technology businesses, revenue increased 11% to $1.16 billion, with 7% organic growth. WTW continues to expect to deliver mid-single-digit organic growth for 2026.
