Medallion Racing Partners and Steve Weston's Parkland Thoroughbreds have purchased a 50% interest in exciting two-year-old Celeron (Mohaather). Trained by Michael O'Callaghan, Celeron has won two of his three starts to date in the colours of the New Morning Syndicate. The four-time Group 1 winner Porta Fortuna is among the star names to have represented Medallion Racing on European soil, with the operation's racing manager, Phillip Shelton, expressing his delight at having added Celeron to the team. “We were extremely impressed by Celeron, both on debut and last-time-out at the Curragh,” said Shelton. Both Medallion and Parkland look to get involved in high-end racing prospects – this horse definitely ticks all of those boxes.”
