A Cameron, Missouri, man is facing two felony charges and one misdemeanor after prosecutors alleged he violated a court-issued order of protection during an encounter at a workplace in Daviess County. Robert Lee Ellis, of Cameron, was charged with first-degree harassment, first-degree stalking and misdemeanor violation of an adult order of protection in connection with an incident reported July 28, 2026. Investigators said the protected person locked the vehicle, drove closer to the business entrance and went inside to avoid contact. The order prohibited Ellis from entering the protected person’s workplace and from coming within 500 feet of the protected individual. Investigators also noted the protected person feared Ellis and alleged his actions demonstrated a disregard for the court’s protection order.
