The company U-Haul has published numbers on where generations of Americans are migrating. And in the category of Baby Boomers the states of South Carolina and North Carolina were 1-2 for those born between 1946 and 1964. Dari McBride, executive director of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce, looked at the report today and shared her thoughts not only on Baby Boomers preferring South Carolina, but also her thoughts on an often expressed concern among Oconee County residents that the county is just growing at alarming rates.
