Bug bounty work has a moral built into its mechanics, and Akam Hamak absorbed it young. Hamak spent his early years inside that system, earning bounties for finding and responsibly disclosing software vulnerabilities. The word responsibly is doing real work in that description. Bug bounties reward the opposite, and having been shaped by that model early, Hamak carries an unusual immunity to the shortcuts.
